A packed November for #QueerEast. Our next stops include Leeds, Sheffield and Belfast, where we showcase a selection of festival highlights spanning over half a century of #queer cinema history across East and Southeast Asia.
A new spot has been added to our road trip this November! We are joining forces with picturevillecinema at mediamuseum to present three festival highlights.
The line-up includes seany.devlin’s screwball queer tragicomedy Asog; the acclaimed slow cinema master tsai_ming_liang’s 1997 classic The River; and a rare rediscovery of Isao Fujusawa’s radical #queer drama, Bye Bye Love, from 1974 #Japan.
▶ Fri 8 Nov, 19:30 | Asog ▶ Sat 9 Nov, 20:00 | The River ▶ Sun 10 Nov, 18:15 | Bye Bye Love (50th Anniversary) . . bradford_2025 bfdqueerfilmfest pride_bradford bdproducinghub #LGBTQIA #QueerCinema #LGBTQ...
